Microblading Adelaide —
Why I No Longer Offer It & The Better Alternative

Many clients search for “microblading in Adelaide” looking for natural brows. I used to offer this technique, but I made a conscious choice to stop — for the health of my clients’ skin and for longer-lasting results.

Why I No Longer Offer Microblading

Microblading uses a manual blade to cut strokes into the skin and fill them with pigment. While once popular, with time I saw its consistent limitations:
  • More trauma to the skin
  • Unpredictable healing and pigment fading
  • Poor results on oily or mature skin
  • Tendency to turn reddish or grey over time
That’s why I chose to stop offering microblading — and focus on modern alternatives that heal better and last longer.

My Microblading Journey

I first trained in microblading over 10 years ago. Back then, it was considered the leading brow technique, and I was proud to offer it to my clients. This photo shows one of my early works after completing training.
But with experience, I began to notice the drawbacks: pigment changes, skin trauma, and short-lasting results. I realised my clients deserved better.
That’s why today, I specialise in Hairstroke Nano Brows — the evolution of the hair-stroke technique that gives softer, more realistic results with less trauma.
A Better Alternative:

Hairstroke Nano Brows

Hairstroke Nano uses an ultra-fine digital needle to implant pigment gently and precisely. The effect mimics natural hair growth — with less trauma and longer-lasting results than microblading.
Why clients love it:
  • Natural, realistic look
  • Safe for most skin types
  • Softer healing
  • Results that last 12–18 months
